3D & Making
From a shape on screen to something you can hold.
I explore form through CAD, 3D modelling, printing and hands-on experimentation. The work moves between useful objects and sculptural pieces, with an interest in geometry, material and how things fit together. Making is a way of thinking: each prototype reveals something the drawing could not.
What I can help with.
- CAD and 3D modelling: a form worked out on screen.
- 3D printing: prototypes and finished parts.
- Hands-on making: fitting, finishing and testing by hand.
- Sculptural pieces: objects made for their own sake.
